Review strategies related to distributing income and assets and dealing with difficult beneficiaries and other trust troubleshooting.

There she worked under William Hand, EA, President of the newly formed American Society of Pension Actuaries. In 1986, Ms. Turner moved to Jacksonville, Florida to work with Data Plans as a pension consultant. In 1989, Ms. Turner moved to Orlando where she became a founding partner in Benefit Plan Administrators, Inc. a full service administration firm, which was later sold. Ms. Turner started her consulting/administration firm in Oviedo, FL as Sandra R. Turner & Associates, Inc. which became Retirement Plan Specialists, Inc. in 1997.

    PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

    • National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) – Ms. Turner has been on the state and federal Leadership Council since 1995, working with regulators and legislators on pension and tax issues affecting small business.

    • Small Business Council of America (SBCA) – Ms. Turner has been on the Business Advisory Board for over fifteen years. The mission of this organization is to promote favorable tax and employee benefits laws for small businesses and their owners.
