Ethics - It Begins and Ends with You

Designed for tax professionals who share the same ethical concerns of quality of work product and dedication to public service.  A review of several areas of Circular 230 in the context of the real world of taxation will leave tax professionals aware of ethical dilemmas and confident that although ethical trials will come there way the measurement of success is how the ethical dilemma is handled.

  • Identify who can practice before the IRS and what is expected of these practitioners

Beanna J. Whitlock, EA, CSA

Beanna is an Enrolled Agent in private practice as Whitlock Tax Service, LLC located in Canyon Lake, TX.

A tax law instructor for more than 40 years with emphasis on Limited Liability Company and Ethics and Professional Conduct presentations.  Beanna has taught tax professionals across the country and is an adjunct professor for Auburn University.  She is a faculty member of the National Center for Professional Education. She has testified before Congress, Treasury and the IRS Oversight Board.  She has served on the IRS Information Reporting Program Advisory Council as well as the IRS Commissioner’s Advisory Group (CAG).  She served as the IRS Director of National Public Liaison for Commissioner Mark Everson and is a recipient of the Commissioner’s Award for Excellence of Service.
