Diversity, equity, and inclusion have become a part of the common language for many corporations and institutions. However, we don’t always take the time to give context to what these terms mean, and how they apply to our daily experiences. We’ll spend time contextualizing these terms to create a shared understanding of their meanings and applications.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Explain the foundational knowledge and understanding of concepts and terms related to the diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Describe the critical thinking related to our own culture and identity and relate that to our leadership and management style
- Explain how these concepts and terms related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, might influence our lives at work and beyond
