This course will examine the basics of workplace efficiency. We will cover beating procrastination, planning your day to accomplish the maximum- especially getting done that one big task you absolutely have to finish before going home- grouping tasks, and multitasking. We will also examine methods to remove clutter (mental, physical and electronic) and also how to manage programs and apps. We will discuss effectively dealing with e-mail and instant messaging, handling telephone and face-to-face communications

Franklin Clark

Frank Clark has been many things in his life, from a trash man in Stone Harbor, New Jersey to a police officer in Philadelphia, to a revenue officer at the IRS. He retired in 2019 as a front-line manager in the IRS Appeals office after almost 40 years of government service.

Frank graduated from Park College in 1977 with a BA in Management and the University of Miami in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies. His thesis is titled “Maximón: The Shape Shifting Trickster…” He is the author of “Run for YOUR Life” on Apple Books and teaches “One Small Step: Efficiency for Managers” on Udemy.

 Frank takes trips in his 1982 Volkswagen Vanagon to surf, scuba dive, hike and cycle. He has run 46 marathons, loves to garden, ferment food, is a throat cancer survivor and represents taxpayers before the IRS as an enrolled agent.
